150 years ago started the tradition to celebrate the first Catholic mass in México that took place at El Cedral ever since the celebration takes place the firsts days of May to commemorate the Day of the Holy Cross.
During this celebration residents and visitors can enjoy the different activities throughout the 5 days that the celebration lasts, food stands, games, horse races, bullfight and traditional dancing such as the dance of the “head of the boar” and “The Ribbons” which is usually the last day on May 3rd.
